Skoghall is one of Folktandvården Värmland's larger clinics and has twelve treatment rooms. With us, there is always someone to ask for help. Good atmosphere and excellent collaboration exist within and between all professional categories.
Here works a cheerful team with helpful colleagues who enjoy developing together. If you are new to your profession, there is a plan for mentoring during your first year. The work group consists of 31 employees and we treat approximately 5,000 adult patients and 4,000 children and young people. At the clinic, we offer nitrous oxide treatment, referral services for surgery, and we also provide dental care at elderly care facilities in the municipality.
We work according to the 7 to 19 work model. Hammarö is a growing municipality and with that comes the need to meet the demand for care and create good workflows in the work we conduct. This means that innovative thoughts and ideas about how we can work in daily life is a natural dialogue in our everyday operations and at our workplace meetings. Within Folktandvården Värmland, there is always good collaboration between general dental clinics and specialists.

Your Responsibilities
We are looking for you as a dentist who enjoys working with team dentistry and treats your own patients, both children and adults. You will work with distributed examinations. If interested, there is also the possibility of expanded task sharing with a dental hygienist and nurse.
With us, there are excellent opportunities to work varied within the entire dentist's area of expertise, everything from fillings and simple orthodontics to major prosthetics and surgery. If you would like to specialize in a particular area and act as a local referral service, this is also something we at Folktandvården Värmland view positively.
Your Knowledge and Competencies
We are looking for you who is a licensed dentist and we also reach out to you who are at the end of your education and are seeking your first job as a dentist.
To thrive in the role, you enjoy working in a team but also independently. You have a genuine interest in helping others, gladly take your own initiative, and strive to deliver solutions. You also place great emphasis on meeting established goals and quality standards. Furthermore, you are flexible and adapt easily to different situations and circumstances.

About Us
Folktandvården Värmland is part of Region Värmland and has 17 general dental clinics, distributed across 24 different units – from Sysslebäck in the north to Säffle in the southwest. In addition, there are clinics within all specialist areas that treat patients by referral. We are a forward-thinking organization with quality and expertise in focus. Approximately 560 people work with us who together have long and broad experience working for better dental and oral health.
