Dental Hygienist needed at Västerhaninge Tandvården
Västerhaninge Tandvården is an established and family-oriented dental clinic focused on quality, patient safety, and long-term patient relationships. We welcome both new and returning patients and offer everything from general dentistry and preventive treatments to comprehensive treatment planning, periodontal treatment, and implant therapy.
The clinic is growing, and we are now seeking an additional professional and dedicated dental hygienist who wants to become an important part of our team.
About the Position
As a dental hygienist with us, you will have a central role in patients' treatment journey. We have a large influx of new patients and many patients with periodontal needs, comprehensive treatment plans, and implant-related care. You will work closely with our dentists and be an important part of creating good oral health, clear follow-up, and high-quality treatment.
The position can be full-time or part-time depending on agreement.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Examination and assessment of patients' oral health within the dental hygienist's scope of practice
Periodontal treatment and follow-up of periodontal patients
Preventive treatments and support for patients at risk of caries and periodontal disease
Debridement, supportive treatment, and individual oral hygiene instruction
Treatment and follow-up of implant patients in collaboration with dentists
Patient counseling regarding oral health, self-care, and preventive measures
Record keeping, risk assessments, and follow-up of treatment plans
Close collaboration with dentists, dental nurses, and other clinic staff
