Your Workplace
At Folktandvården Norrstrand, we work with a 7-19 schedule, alternating between morning and afternoon shifts.
We are 29 employees at the clinic and there is always someone to ask. We help each other in our daily work, have a good atmosphere, and care about each other. At the clinic, we care for and treat approximately 9,500 patients, both children and adults. We also have access to a microscope and nitrous oxide equipment.
We need to expand with an additional dental hygienist, partly because we have taken on many new patients. If you are new to the profession, we can offer you a good start in your career with several experienced colleagues who can help and support you.
Your Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include all tasks within the dental hygienist's professional scope. This means that as a dental hygienist, you will treat your own patients in pediatric and adult dental care with examinations, disease treatment procedures, and preventive dentistry.
You will work in a team with dentists and dental nurses. Team dentistry includes joint examinations, impressions, filling therapy, and more, and there are also good opportunities for development and expanded responsibilities. We collaborate with the municipality's schools and elderly care through external activities including education and outreach services.
Your Knowledge and Competencies
We are looking for you who are a licensed dental hygienist.
You are self-driven, take responsibility for your work, and move your tasks forward in a structured way. At the same time, you enjoy collaborating with others and contribute to a good work environment. You are flexible, accommodating, and have a strong commitment to providing support and service to those you meet.

Folktandvården Värmland is part of Region Värmland and has 17 general dental care clinics, distributed across 24 different units – from Sysslebäck in the north to Säffle in the southwest. Additionally, there are clinics in all specialist areas that treat patients on referral. We are a forward-thinking organization with quality and expertise in focus.
