About the Position As a dental hygienist with us, you will have an independent and varied role with your own patient base and good conditions to plan your workday. Your main focus is on preventive dental care, periodontal examinations and treatments, and supportive therapy. You will work closely with our dentists on diagnosis and overall treatment planning. With us, you will be given great trust and freedom to influence your own work methods, the clinic's prophylaxis program, and our collective quality work. Work Responsibilities The role includes, among other things: • Examinations, risk assessments, and periodontal diagnostics • Preventive dental care, prophylaxis, and individualized counseling • Treatment and follow-up of periodontal diseases and peri-implant conditions • Depuration, subgingival cleaning, and supportive therapy • Professional teeth cleaning with modern equipment, including Guided Biofilm Therapy • Local anesthesia and infiltration anesthesia as needed • Clear and educational patient information and motivation • Careful documentation and treatment planning within your area of competence • Active participation in the clinic's quality work through adherence to and development of routines, hygiene controls, risk assessments, and incident management We Are Looking for You If You • Are a licensed dental hygienist • Have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing • Work independently, carefully, and with genuine commitment to the patient's long-term oral health • Have a warm, educational, and trustworthy approach to patients • Value good collaboration and contribute with energy, helpfulness, and joy to the team • Have a natural quality mindset and understand the importance of routines, hygiene requirements, and patient safety Meritorious Qualifications If you have any one or more of the following experiences and knowledge, it is advantageous: • Experience working within general dental care • Advanced education in radiology and radiation protection • Experience with or interest in roles such as hygiene coordinator, quality representative, or radiation protection officer • Completed courses in patient safety, infection control, and incident management We place great emphasis on your personal suitability and attitude.
