About the operation
Malung is a small, calm and safe town in Västerdalarna with fantastic nature nearby that you can enjoy during all seasons of the year. The town is best known for the popular Dansbandsveckan that takes place here in week 29 every year and attracts people from all over Sweden and neighboring countries. The municipality has a rich associational life, so there is a good chance you will find an interest that suits you.
Only 60 km to the north lies one of Sweden's largest winter ski resorts, Sälenfjällen, where you can enjoy skiing, snowmobile tours, dog sledding, eat good food at some of the best restaurants in the country, hiking, cycling, fishing, canoeing and much more.
The municipality also has an airport so you can easily reach several places in Sweden or down to the continent.
The clinic has six treatment rooms and currently employs one dentist, one dental hygienist, four dental nurses, a clinic coordinator and a manager.
Duties
As a dental hygienist in Malung, you will have varied tasks within a dental hygienist's scope of competence, with patients of all age groups and all types of treatments.
As a dental hygienist, you have an important role in our work to offer health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages. You perform examinations and identify, assess and plan appropriate oral health care measures together with the patient, and in consultation with the dentist.
Together at the clinic, we are responsible for children's, adult and elderly dental care.

We have digital X-ray and use the T4 computer system for scheduling, accounting and record keeping.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has a dental hygiene degree and Swedish license. Experience with the T4 computer system is an asset. You use Swedish in speech and writing.
