About the Position As a Gate Technician in Gate Service at NMV Industripartner, you will work with installation, service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of gates and gate solutions for our customers. You'll become an important part of our tight-knit service team and get a self-directed and varied job where problem-solving and customer service are in focus every day. In the role as gate technician, you'll work on diverse assignments, meet new customers, and solve technical challenges – no two days are the same! You will work with, among other things: Installation and assembly of gates and gate automation Service, troubleshooting, and repair of gates and gate systems Preventive and corrective maintenance Adjustment and functional testing of gate solutions Mechanical work and basic electrical work Documentation of completed work Customer contact and on-site consultation The work takes place largely at our customers' locations, which means you'll encounter different environments, technical solutions, and challenges. You therefore need to be comfortable working independently and confident in finding solutions when circumstances change. Who Are You? You might have experience from gate service, industrial service, installation, mechanics, or similar – or be early in your career with the right attitude and willingness to learn the trade. We especially welcome experience with: Experience with gate assembly, gate automation, or similar technical installations Mechanics, assembly, or industrial service Troubleshooting and maintenance Basic electrical and control technology Reading drawings and technical documentation On-site customer work Relevant training or equivalent professional experience Valid driver's license (Class B), which is a requirement Experience in gate service, electrical installation, or automation is highly desirable – but not required.
