Would you like to work with technical systems where electronics, power supply, communications, and mechanics need to function together as a whole? We are now seeking a Systems Engineer for a company in the defense industry. Here you will work with advanced technical solutions for demanding environments and be involved throughout the entire process from customer requirements and system design to the finished solution. About the Role As a Systems Engineer, you will translate customer needs and technical requirements into functioning system solutions. This could involve, for example, a command or navigation system where multiple components need to be integrated and communicate with each other. You will work with the overall system and design how different components should be connected, such as regarding data communication, power supply, cabling, electrical cabinets, and other electrical interfaces. The role is primarily focused on hardware and system integration. You will, among other things: - Design and document technical systems and subsystems - Create electrical schematics and design documentation - Work with integration of electronics and other hardware components - Design solutions for data communication and power supply, primarily within low voltage, for example 24 V - Work with cabling, connectors, grounding principles, and electrical interfaces - Take EMC and other technical requirements into account - Dimension and select appropriate technical solutions and components - Ensure that the design meets customer requirements - Document the solution through different phases of the project - Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers and other technical disciplines Projects vary based on customer needs. An assignment could involve replacing an existing navigation system, for example. Some components may already be defined, and your task would then be to design how these should be integrated, connected, and function together in the complete system. Who Are We Looking For? We believe you have a technical education in, for example, electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, systems engineering, or equivalent experience. You don't need to know everything from the start. There is much domain- and product-specific knowledge to learn in the role. However, you need to have a solid technical foundation and an interest in understanding how different components and technical disciplines come together to create a functioning system. We would like to see experience in some of the following areas: electrical design, electronics, electrical schematics, cabling design, power supply, system integration, data communication, EMC, grounding, component selection, or technical documentation. Experience with AutoCAD is a plus. It is also advantageous if you have experience from the Swedish Armed Forces or the defense industry. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English. Experience Level We are open to different experience levels. You may have a few years of experience and want to develop further within systems engineering, or be more senior and already have worked with complex electrical and electronic systems. The most important thing is that you have the right technical foundation, are curious, and enjoy problem-solving where multiple technical areas need to work together. About the Team You will become part of a design-focused team of approximately 12 people, with expertise in both systems and mechanical engineering. Collaboration between disciplines is an important part of the work, and you will have the opportunity to follow solutions from requirements and design to the finished system. The position is located north of Stockholm and offers a hybrid arrangement with approximately three days per week on-site and two days remote. Would you like to work close to technology and help design complex systems for the defense industry? Then this could be an interesting opportunity for you. Our Offer to You This is a consulting assignment where you will initially be employed by Tech Talents and work on a longer-term assignment with our customer. At Tech Talents, you will have the opportunity to work on technically advanced and developmental assignments together with colleagues and customers. We want to create good conditions for you to develop long-term, while giving you the opportunity to contribute your expertise in operations where technology makes a real difference. As a consultant with us, you will receive, among other things: - Competitive employment terms and a secure employment relationship - Opportunity for skills development and continued technical development - An accessible organization with focus on both the individual and the assignment - Opportunity to work on complex and technically challenging projects - Colleagues with broad and deep expertise in technology and critical infrastructure Does this sound like your next step? We look forward to getting to know you and learning more about both the role, the projects, and the customer. Selections are made on a rolling basis, so please submit your application as soon as possible. We warmly welcome your application!
