Your Role As a Systems Engineer Navigation, you will be an important part of a specialist team responsible for the operation and management of LFV's ground-based navigation equipment, including both hardware and software. You will work with systems and management issues that help ensure that navigation equipment complies with applicable regulations and that procurement, operations, management, and development take place in an efficient and sustainable manner. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be involved from the beginning in LFV's long-term modernization project for navigation equipment, where older navigation installations will gradually be replaced with modern systems. The role involves close collaboration with experienced specialists, operations representatives, and suppliers. In the role, you will among other things: Further develop existing systems and products by identifying and solving technical and operational challenges Contribute expert competence throughout the development chain, from early analyses and requirements specification to installation, verification, and commissioning in an operational environment Coordinate, drive, and follow up technical issues within the navigation field Prepare planning documents, cost estimates, and technical documentation for various measures Lead and coordinate installations of new equipment and participate in project work from planning to implementation Serve as technical contact person and support to LFV's operations and maintenance organization Be the contact person with suppliers and external partners Responsible for documentation within the system management process Your Profile We are looking for someone with a technical university education in, for example, electrical engineering, telecommunications, communication engineering, or equivalent competence acquired in another way. To be successful in the role, you have: at least a couple of years of work experience in a technical role. ability to interpret technical documentation and familiarize yourself with regulations ability to practically apply your technical knowledge good knowledge of Swedish and English with good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing. It is a merit if you have: understanding of network solutions and communication between systems basic knowledge of programming/scripting knowledge of radio technology experience working in a technical role in operations with complex or critical infrastructure systems experience working in regulated operations You are confident in yourself and enjoy working independently, while recognizing the value of good collaboration with colleagues and other contacts. You are solution-oriented, action-taking, and take responsibility for your tasks from start to finish. The place of work is primarily at one of our offices in Norrköping, Stockholm/Arlanda, or Malmö/Sturup, but placement at our office in Sundsvall/Timrå is also possible. Remote work is possible by agreement with your manager. The employment includes some travel. A driver's license (category B) is a requirement.
