IT Department Would you like to work with modern IT infrastructure in an environment where technology is used to support research, education, and societal development? We are looking for a systems administrator who wants to develop and maintain SLU's IT platforms. With us, you will work with both established operations and development of tomorrow's infrastructure, where automation, open source, and standardization are becoming increasingly important parts of the work. You will become part of an experienced team where we enjoy sharing knowledge with one another. About the job As a systems administrator, you will work with operations, development, and improvement of our IT infrastructure. Examples of work tasks: administration of Linux servers automation using, for example, Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible troubleshooting and problem-solving in our server and infrastructure environment development of secure and stable IT services participation in projects around virtualization, identity management, and IT security contribution to documentation, improvements, and efficiency measures. We are increasingly working with automation and Infrastructure as Code, and we would like to see that you enjoy writing code or scripts to simplify administration. Your background We believe you have experience working within some of the following areas: Linux Bash, PowerShell, or Python automation, for example Ansible virtualization troubleshooting in server and network environments documentation and technical problem-solving. Merits It is a plus if you have experience with any of the following: Nutanix or Hyper-V Azure or other cloud services Entra ID or identity management databases, for example Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL monitoring systems open source software and the Linux ecosystem.
