We are now looking for a Linux Systems Administrator for a leading Swedish technology and defense company that develops advanced technical solutions for a safer world. Your responsibilities As a Linux Systems Administrator, you will be an important part of an experienced Linux team and work on building, maintaining, and developing stable and secure IT environments. The role is varied and combines traditional systems administration with automation and development of modern approaches. You will, among other things: Administer, configure, and maintain Linux-based systems and servers Work with operations, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure high availability and operational stability Automate configuration and processes with Ansible Work with Git, version control, and pipelines for provisioning and deployment Script and automate workflows with, for example, Bash and Python Work with networking, servers, and integration of new technology Contribute to security configuration and adaptation of environments according to various cybersecurity frameworks Document solutions and approaches and actively contribute to knowledge sharing in the team Your profile We are looking for you with several years of experience in Linux administration and a good understanding of servers and networking. You have a genuine interest in technology and enjoy troubleshooting, developing, and automating solutions. We would like to see that you have experience with: Linux administration and server environments Networking and infrastructure Ansible and automated configuration Bash and/or Python Git, version control, and pipelines Automation and development of more efficient approaches It is meritious if you have experience with OpenStack, Zabbix, or similar platforms and tools. Experience with security configuration and work according to, for example, CMMC L2, NIST 800-171, or DEFSTAN is also meritious. As a person, you are curious, solution-oriented, and have a strong desire to learn new technologies. You work in a structured and independent manner but are equally comfortable solving problems together with others. If you have experience modernizing traditional IT environments through increased automation, we see that as a great plus. The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to applicable regulations for security clearance.
