About the Position We are now recruiting a System Specialist to our IT operations in Växjö who wants to contribute to secure and stable operations of Södra's IT infrastructure. The role suits you if you are driven by technology and development, thrive in a changing environment, and want to be part of developing a modern operations platform in Azure. We are looking for someone who combines a strong technical interest with the ability to take a broader perspective, contribute to long-term development, and participate in strategic decisions. At the same time, you see the value of new digital opportunities and use AI as a natural support for learning, problem-solving, and development in your daily work. What You'll Work With at Södra As a System Specialist, you will be an important part of Södra's IT operations, where you contribute to ensuring that our business-critical systems are available, secure, and functioning effectively in everyday operations. You will, among other things: Handle and coordinate IT-related incidents together with our suppliers and partners, and lead the work to ensure proper prioritization and progress. Ensure that servers, infrastructure, and platforms meet Södra's requirements for availability and IT security. Work with operations and management of our infrastructure in Azure and on-premises. Participate in projects and change initiatives related to new technology and new ways of working. Contribute to continuous improvements within operations, processes, and IT security. Act as a requester and requirements setter in dialogue with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Contribute through informal leadership, collaboration, and clear decision-making. Work closely with our IT architects to contribute knowledge in strategic decisions. You will be part of a team of six employees responsible for operations of servers, networks, and applications. The work is conducted in close collaboration with consultants and other parts of the IT organization in an environment characterized by Microsoft products and Azure as the platform. This is a permanent full-time position based in Växjö. We use a hybrid arrangement where office presence is expected approximately 2-3 days per week. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone who is driven, self-directed, and goal-oriented, while also having a calm and structured work approach. To succeed in the role, you need: Experience with operations and management of a Microsoft environment. Strong expertise in Azure infrastructure. Experience with PowerShell and bicep. A strong security mindset and a structured work approach. Ability to communicate clearly and build good collaborations with both colleagues and suppliers. We also see that you have experience with: Server operations in larger organizations with high requirements for security and availability. Working with AI as a support in daily work. Working as a team member in development or change projects. Working according to ITIL processes. Microsoft certifications in relevant areas.
