We are now seeking an experienced and independent welder for our client in Oxelösund. Here you'll have the opportunity to work in a modern and developmental production environment alongside competent colleagues. About the Position In your role as a welder, you will work with manufacturing, processing, and assembly of various components. The work tasks are varied and require you to work independently, carefully, and according to drawings, work orders, instructions, and applicable requirements. You will work with, among other things: MIG, MAG, and MMA welding Sheet metal and welding work according to drawings and work orders Drawing reading and work based on technical documentation Welding and assembly of components Preparation and processing of materials before welding Self-inspection of dimensions, weld quality, and execution Inspection of your own work with a focus on quality and accuracy Reporting of completed work steps according to applicable procedures Ensure that work is performed according to planned time, quality, and delivery requirements Inform management if delivery is at risk or if deviations occur Quality and Responsibility: Quality is an important part of the role and you are expected to take great responsibility for your own work. You should be able to identify quality risks and deviations and take action when something is not right. You will, among other things: Perform self-inspections Report quality deviations Stop work in case of quality risk, incorrect documentation, or unclear instructions Ensure correct marking and traceability where required It is a requirement that you can perform welding according to quality level B, SS-EN ISO 2517. Equipment Responsibility You are responsible for your assigned welding equipment and associated equipment and perform daily inspections of, for example, welding equipment, cables, hoses, earth clamps, and gas equipment. There may also be responsibility and daily inspection of shared equipment such as: Rollers Snips Exhaust equipment Other machinery in the production area Faults, damage, or need for service are reported to the responsible manager. Order, Organization, and 5S We are looking for someone who sees order and organization as a natural part of good production work. You are responsible for ensuring that tools, fixtures, and materials are in the right place and contribute to a well-organized work environment. You will also: Participate in cleaning and waste management Participate in the company's 5S work Contribute to improving the work environment Suggest improvements regarding work methods, equipment, and work area Work Environment and Safety Safety is a natural part of the work. You should follow the company's safety instructions, procedures, and policies and use prescribed protective equipment. You are also expected to report near misses, risks, and accidents immediately. Your Profile We are Looking for You We are looking for someone with solid welding experience who is confident working independently. You are careful, responsible, and quality-conscious with a professional approach to both production and safety. To be eligible for the position, we see that you have: Experience with MIG, MAG, and MMA Good knowledge of drawing reading Experience from industrial and production environments Ability to work independently according to drawings, work orders, and instructions Experience with self-inspection and quality work Ability to weld according to quality level B, SS-EN ISO 2517 A careful and quality-conscious work approach Ability to take responsibility for both work and equipment A solution-oriented mindset and willingness to contribute to improvements Authority and Responsibility In the role, you have the responsibility and authority to act when something affects safety, quality, or delivery. You should be able to stop work in case of safety risk or quality deficiency, report need for repair and service, and raise improvement suggestions to management.
