• Performs standard welding and metalworking tasks, primarily MAG welding in a protective mixed gas atmosphere, preparation of welding surfaces, grinding and grooving of welds, preheating, post-heating, etc.
• Valid welding certification required
• Follows instructions from the master/supervisor, technical documentation, work and control procedures, and applicable standards; maintains technological discipline
• Performs individual operations and records them in the appropriate parts lists, protocols, or forms
• For each production operation, performs stamping and self-inspection within the specified scope
• Takes responsible approach to the use of assigned work machines, equipment, tools, consumable parts, media, PPE, and materials
• Complies with safety, fire, and environmental regulations and standards
• During work, fulfills and adheres to tasks and obligations arising from the company's established quality management system and regulations applicable to the performed work
