Mimaru Sushi │ Växjö is seeking an experienced sushi chef Växjö Full-time Mimaru Sushi is a well-established restaurant in Växjö with the ambition to create a modern Asian dining experience where sushi plays a central role. About the role As a sushi chef at Mimaru Sushi Växjö, you will work with the entire process – from preparation and handling of fish and raw ingredients to nigiri, maki and our signature dishes. We place great emphasis on ingredient quality, precision and presentation. For us, sushi is a craft, and we are looking for someone who shares that approach. You will need to be able to work independently at the sushi station while also functioning well with the rest of the kitchen team. We are looking for you if you Have documented experience as a sushi chef Have strong knowledge of fish, ingredient handling and preparation Master nigiri, maki and other classic sushi techniques Have experience with à la carte sushi Work cleanly, organized and meticulously Can maintain both quality and pace during service Have an eye for detail and presentation Take responsibility for your station and your ingredients Are curious and want to continue developing within sushi We want to find a sushi chef who wants to help develop our sushi, contribute with knowledge and ideas, and together with us create the quality and identity that Mimaru sushi has become known for.
