The Department of Environmental Science is a large department at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, with approximately 170 researchers, teachers, doctoral students, and technical/administrative staff from over 30 countries. Job Duties You will primarily work within the international master program TRACEE (Transdisciplinary Studies in Climate, Environment and Energy) offered by 11 European universities within the university alliance Civis and coordinated by the Department of Environmental Science. As academic advisor and international coordinator for TRACEE, you will have overall responsibility for student contact and matters concerning student mobility between institutions. The work thus involves close contact with the program's students, but also extensive coordination with the 10 other institutions. The role includes serving as vice chair of the program's working group for student support and collaboration with the chair from Université de Marseille-Aix en Provence. The position includes a minor portion of handling the department's incoming and outgoing international students. Internally, the role involves close collaboration with the department's prefect, academic advisor, and coordinator for the TRACEE program, but also contacts with the faculty's and university's representatives for internationalization. Qualifications Higher education degree. Experience with internationalization in educational matters in the higher education/university sector. Very good ability to communicate well in English and Swedish, both orally and in writing. Experience with web work is a merit, as is experience in academic advising. As a person, you need to be well-organized, flexible, collaborative, and solution-oriented. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. About the Position The position is permanent at 50% with a six-month probationary period. Stockholm University applies individual salary setting. Start date by agreement.
