About the Position
Tidaholm Municipality's schools consist of a preschool-grade 3 school, several preschool-grade 6 schools, a middle school, and a high school. Study guidance is provided based on students' needs at the various elementary schools and also at the high school. Teachers and students work closely together, and it's never far to find someone to bounce ideas off.
We are now seeking a study advisor in Thai. This position is a fixed-term employment of approximately 14 hours per week, starting by agreement and extending to June 11, 2027, with the possibility of extension if the need remains. As a study advisor, you work together with teachers at Tidaholm schools and help students understand texts and concepts in different subjects.
Qualifications
We want you to have good knowledge of Thai as well as knowledge of Swedish, equivalent to Swedish as a second language 1 at upper secondary level. We are seeking someone with relevant knowledge for this position. It is meritorious if you have previously worked in a school. You are accustomed to working with others and can build good relationships with young people in school. You should be able to work independently and collaborate easily.
The position requires that you are flexible and prepared to receive new students throughout the school year. Of course, you are able to lead work in the classroom in a respectful manner toward your students.
To be offered the position of study advisor in Tidaholm Municipality, you need to be on-site in Tidaholm two days/week where study guidance takes place at different school units.
