Description
We are looking for an engaged study tutor who has a strong command of Urdu and Swedish, and who wants to work with students in grades 4-9. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting and guiding our young students in their schooling and helping them reach their goals. You will be an important person in their lives, and your efforts will contribute to an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
As a study tutor, you will:
Work with students who have recently arrived in Sweden and need extra support in their studies.
Adapt teaching based on each student's individual needs and circumstances.
Create a safe and inspiring atmosphere where students feel seen and heard.
Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure a comprehensive solution for the student's learning and well-being.

Job Responsibilities
As a study tutor in Urdu for grades 4-9, you will play a central role in our students' learning and development. Your engagement and pedagogical insight will inspire and support our students to reach their goals. You will:
Provide individual tutoring and support in various subjects, such as Swedish, mathematics, and English, adapted to each student's needs.
Create a safe and stimulating learning environment where students can grow and develop.
Work closely with teachers and other staff to promote language learning and cultural understanding.
Encourage and motivate students to actively participate in teaching and to express their thoughts and feelings.
Plan and carry out activities that stimulate learning and creativity outside the classroom.
There are only a few students with Urdu as their native language who need tutoring. The position is part-time at 20%.
We prefer that you are able to provide tutoring on-site, but if circumstances require it, interactive tutoring via video call can be arranged.
Qualifications
Language - you have a strong command of, in addition to Urdu, Swedish in both speech and writing.
