The Language Center is Strängnäs Municipality's unit for native language instruction and study counseling. The Language Center works with newly arrived students with language backgrounds other than Swedish, as well as Swedish-speaking children who have attended school abroad and are entering Strängnäs Municipality's education system.
We view native language instruction and study counseling as a very important part of student language development and goal achievement.
We are now seeking a study counselor in Romanian. The work takes place during daytime hours.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a study counselor, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing instruction together with the responsible teacher according to each student's circumstances. The work involves working on-site at various schools in the municipality, which may require you to travel between schools during the workday.
You work daytime hours approximately 3 hours per week, though this may change throughout the term.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
• strong knowledge, both spoken and written, of native Romanian
• strong knowledge, both spoken and written, of Swedish
• a Class B driver's license, as the position may involve travel between schools within the municipality.
It is an advantage if you have/are:
• qualified as a native language teacher or authorized teacher
• previous experience in native language instruction or study counseling
Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. As a person, we are looking for someone who takes responsibility for your tasks, is skilled at creating good relationships, and works well collaborating with others. You have an ability to meet students individually and in groups, are flexible, and are responsive to others' needs.
Before employment, the employer will request an extract from the police's suspicion and criminal record register.
Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
