Do you want to make a difference in young people's future choices? We are now seeking an engaged and experienced career and education advisor for a student-focused assignment with a focus on upper secondary school selection. About the assignment We are seeking a career and education advisor for a full-time assignment with immediate start through the end of February. The assignment is distributed across three primary schools and involves close collaboration with students in grade 9 as they prepare for their upper secondary school selection. In this role, you are responsible for planning and implementing guidance and providing students with the tools and knowledge they need to make well-informed decisions about their future. You will also support students' families through the upper secondary school selection process when needed. Work tasks As a career and education advisor, you will: Guide students in grade 9 in preparation for upper secondary school selection Provide information about upper secondary education programs, admission requirements, and future study and career opportunities Plan, organize, and implement guidance initiatives Support students and, when needed, their guardians through the upper secondary school selection process Collaborate with school leadership, teachers, and other relevant stakeholders We are looking for someone who Holds a qualification in career and education guidance Has experience in guidance and a genuine interest in working with young people Provides guidance in an inspiring way and helps students broaden their perspectives regarding future study and career choices Is self-directed, organized, and confident in your professional role It is an advantage if you also have: Experience independently managing projects within career and education guidance Experience guiding students and families through upper secondary school selection Very strong computer skills and ease in learning new digital systems To succeed in this role, we believe you are communicative, relationship-building, and have an inclusive work approach. You are responsive to students' needs and are motivated by helping young people discover new opportunities and make well-informed decisions about their future. Good to know The position is a consulting assignment starting as soon as possible with a scope of 75-100% according to agreement. There is an opportunity to undertake the assignment as a sub-consultant.
