Our client is one of Sweden's leading suppliers of bakery and confectionery ingredients, delivering supplies to bakeries, pastry shops, and bakery industries. Our client operates a newly established warehouse in Staffanstorp that is modern, spacious, and houses dry goods, refrigerated, and frozen products. The atmosphere at the warehouse is pleasant with a strong team spirit and high work morale. Your work tasks will consist of forklift operation and order picking with a scanner. You will work between the dry storage area and refrigerated section, with the possibility of also being trained to work in the freezer if interested. Work hours are scheduled on weekdays and can vary in timing and duration, with shifts sometimes announced on short notice.
As a forklift operator, you will be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant at our client's facility.
To be considered for the position, you must be a student at komvux, university, or college for at least 50% over at least the next 1.5 years. A requirement for the position is availability to work at least 2 days per week, primarily between Monday-Wednesday.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are now looking for you who can work as needed, often on short notice. To thrive in the role, you need to be flexible, hardworking, and a clear team player. We would like you to have good physical condition as heavy lifting occurs. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. At an interview, we will request a criminal record excerpt.
Requirements
- Student at minimum 50% for at least 1.5 years ahead
- Forklift certificate A1-A4 and B1-B3
- Good physical condition and basic Swedish in speech and writing
- Available during daytime at least 2 weekdays per week, preferably early in the week
Meritorious
- Driver's license and access to a car.
- Experience with forklift operation, preferably order picking work with food products
