We are now looking for you to join us at IES Kungsbacka and work in the important role of student assistant for grades 4-6. We are looking for someone who is dedicated and has relevant education. You have the ability to adapt your approach and pedagogical methods based on the student's changing needs. It is important that you are unpretentious, flexible, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. You are well-versed in the school's governing documents and always keep the student's best interests in focus. You plan and organize your work efficiently and are committed to building and maintaining good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians alike. You contribute to ensuring that a student in need of special support receives individualized and inclusive treatment as well as targeted interventions aimed at increased goal attainment. As a student assistant with us, you work in close collaboration with the responsible primary school teacher and special educators. You work with one or more students who need extra support to follow along in instruction. Your main responsibilities therefore involve helping students keep up with their studies and assisting them in finding focus for their work. In addition, your responsibilities can also include helping students practice various daily tasks, providing support for students during breaks and on outings. The position is full-time until the end of fall 2026 with a chance for extension. Start date: as soon as possible. Interviews are ongoing.
