The Social Services Department is responsible for providing support, care and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer interventions that are built on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Services for People with Certain Disabilities (LSS) and the Health and Medical Care Act.
Lantmannavägen is a residence with special services for youth according to LSS.

JOB DUTIES
Would you like to combine pedagogy and care to support people toward a more independent life? Now we are looking for you who wants to contribute with both structure, engagement and knowledge and at the same time make a real difference.
As a support pedagogue, you work to provide pedagogical, social and practical support to people with disabilities in their daily lives. The goal is to strengthen the young people's independence, quality of life and participation in society based on their needs. The work is located during daytime, evenings, sleeping on-call duty and weekends, depending on the needs of the activities.
You work closely with the young people and help create security, structure and predictability. A calm and stable approach is crucial, as is the ability to be attentive and adapt to each young person's individual needs.
The role includes, among other things:
- Supporting the individual in daily life based on the implementation plan
- Motivating and creating structure around activities, health and social interaction
- Collaborating with relatives, colleagues, school and other actors
- Documenting interventions in digital systems according to applicable procedures
- Working based on a low-affect approach with the individual's needs in focus
- Personal care
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a confident and responsible person who wants to contribute to a meaningful daily life for others.
To thrive in the role, you need to be confident in yourself, have a respectful approach and want to contribute to a good work environment. You need to be thorough, service-oriented and have the ability to adapt to different people's needs.
The work requires good collaboration skills, but also that you can take responsibility and work independently. It is important that you are attentive, aware of changes and can handle both routine situations and more unexpected events in daily life. You need to have the ability to document according to applicable procedures.
We also see that you have:
- Vocational university diploma as a support pedagogue or other post-secondary education of at least 200 YH credits within the disability field
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing
- Category B driver's license may be required depending on the activity
