Do you want to make a difference for young people facing various challenges? We are currently seeking five new colleagues for our HVB unit. You will work as an hourly employee at both of our residences, Fristaden and Balsta.
At our HVB homes, we support young people who need special assistance and guidance. Interventions are tailored to each individual's needs and take place both at home and in the community to provide young people with a functional and meaningful daily life.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a support pedagogue, you are an important source of security for our young people. You create a calm and safe environment where they can develop and feel seen. You support young people in their daily lives so they can maintain successful school attendance, enjoy active leisure time, and build good social relationships. The work involves considerable motivational efforts.
The young people you work with have neuropsychiatric disabilities and mental health challenges, and you help them develop predictable and comprehensible daily routines. Externalizing behaviors and self-harm may occur.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
• Postsecondary education with at least 2 years of completed studies. We particularly welcome studies related to social work, such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, treatment pedagogue, behavioral scientist, or social worker.
• Ability to work in various home environments (where there may be pets or smoking).
• Driver's license (Category B).
We appreciate it if you have experience working with young people or adults with challenging behaviors, but it is not a requirement for the position.
You need to be secure in yourself, have good self-awareness, and a strong interest in the living conditions of children and young people.
A valid police register certificate must be presented before any employment.
Salary form: Hourly wage.
Employment type: Fixed-term contract.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: as agreed.

Within the Social Services Department, qualified and well-developed social work is conducted.
