Job Responsibilities
Using a pedagogical approach, you will work together with the user on daily and planned support measures and activities. The support measures are based on the user's individual needs, promote independence, participation, and are carried out with respect for the user's integrity and self-determination.
You are responsible for establishing and following up implementation plans together with the user, other social documentation, and other administrative tasks/areas of responsibility such as scheduling, purchase orders, health and safety. You are also responsible for supporting your colleagues in the workplace with social documentation and implementation plans.
You are a resource and support in developing and using individually tailored pedagogical solutions/methods in daily work and for spreading new knowledge about pedagogical methods in the organization.
The work includes collaborating with the user's network, other staff, and other partners, and for driving development work forward together with colleagues according to established goals, methods, quality requirements, and other guidelines.
You may contribute to other LSS-area activities with your pedagogical expertise and collaborate with other pedagogues in LSS services. Stjärnbacken has activity-adapted schedules and joint planning with other services occurs, primarily Gullstigen's child and youth short-term care.
The position is a permanent employment 100% with commencement by agreement. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekends.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with post-secondary specialization in the disability field, for example 200 YH points (vocational university) or 60 higher education credits. The education must have a clear focus on the disability field and/or the behavioral science field. We would like you to have experience with the target group and people with challenging behaviors. Driver's license B is a requirement.
It is important that you have the ability to professionally meet people based on their individual circumstances and needs. As a person, you are independent and stress-resilient with the individual in focus. You are empathetic and conscientious and work well with others. You have good social skills and enjoy working in a flexible manner. We place great importance on personal suitability.
To work in health and care, you must be at least 18 years old.
The work requires sufficient knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing to, among other things, communicate with users, perform care documentation, and obtain medication delegation.
For work with adults with disabilities, you must show a valid extract from the criminal record register and suspicion register.
