The Social Services Department is responsible for providing support, care and assistance to people in different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer services that are built on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS) and the Health and Medical Care Act.
This can mean providing elderly people with a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting persons with functional disabilities or being there for children, youth and adults in vulnerable life situations.

JOB DUTIES
Do you want to combine pedagogy and care to support people towards a more independent life? As a support pedagogue, you are a key person in the work of developing services for people with functional variation or mental health issues. Now we are looking for you who wants to contribute with both structure, commitment and knowledge and at the same time make a real difference.
As a support pedagogue, you work both close to the individual and with the activity's quality development. You are a support for colleagues in the pedagogical work, follow up interventions and contribute to raising the quality of daily support.
The role includes, among other things:
- Design, monitor and document implementation plans
- Work pedagogically with the individual based on their individual needs
- Be a support for colleagues in methods and approach
- Contribute to systematic quality work and development in the activity
- Collaborate with relatives, colleagues and other professional actors
You work within LSS or social psychiatry, for example in a group home, service housing or daily activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a confident and responsible person who wants to contribute to a meaningful everyday life for others. You have a pedagogical approach and have the ability to coach both users and colleagues.
We also see that you have:
- University College diploma as a support pedagogue or other post-secondary education of at least 200 UC credits within the disability field
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing
- Class B driving license may be required depending on the activity
- Self-defense training
- Knowledge and experience of working based on low-affective approach.
