JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to work closely with people and contribute to a meaningful everyday life for individuals within LSS? Do you thrive in a role where you combine direct work with clients with developing pedagogical practice together with colleagues? As a support pedagogue, you work practically alongside support assistants and colleagues in daily operations and bring a deeper pedagogical approach. You are an important resource in creating structure, participation, and influence in clients' everyday lives and become part of the work team. The work is based on each individual's implementation plan, where support needs and individual goals form the basis for services. You will, among other things: • Develop, document, and follow up implementation plans • Ensure that work is conducted with quality and continuity • Support colleagues on matters related to the assignment and current legislation • Develop and implement pedagogical methods, tools, and adaptations • Transform theoretical knowledge into practical action and inspire colleagues to do the same • Collaborate with family members, guardians, and other stakeholders according to clients' needs With us, you get a meaningful assignment where you combine work with clients and development of pedagogical practice in operations. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in the target group and who is motivated by creating conditions for independence and participation. You have a pedagogical approach and the ability to apply knowledge in practice. You are attentive, flexible, and solution-focused, while being responsible and able to work both independently and according to shared strategies. You have a reflective working style and contribute to development in operations. Personal suitability is heavily weighted. We see that you have: • Support pedagogue training of at least 200 YH credits or other relevant post-secondary education (at least 200 YH credits or 60 higher education credits) • Experience working within LSS • Knowledge of and experience with low-arousal interaction • Knowledge of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) You are welcome to have: • Knowledge of social stories, comic conversations, and mapping • Experience and knowledge of working with mental disabilities If you are offered employment, you must provide an extract from the criminal record.
