At Ersta diakoni LSS, we work to enable people with disabilities to live as independently and actively as possible. We operate LSS residences in the Stockholm area, Vallentuna, and Uppsala.
At Västlunda in Vallentuna, people with intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism-like conditions live here. We base our work on each person's needs, abilities, and wishes to create security, participation, and a meaningful daily life.

About the role
As a support educator at Västlunda, you combine close work with our residents with a special responsibility for the educational work in the operation. Approximately 75% of your working time is spent in the operation and 25% is allocated for administrative and educational tasks.
In daily life, you provide individually adapted support and work to strengthen each resident's independence and participation. You assist with daily activities and leisure activities and adjust your approach based on the person's needs and circumstances. Cleaning and cooking are natural parts of the work.
As a support educator, you also contribute to developing and maintaining the educational work. You work with, among other things, social documentation and implementation plans and help ensure that our approaches provide clear and individually adapted support. You collaborate closely with colleagues, residents' networks, and other professionals. Health and medical care tasks based on delegation are also part of the work.
The position is at 100% and can be filled by agreement.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who wants to use your pedagogical expertise working closely with people. You are curious about what works for each individual and have the ability to translate knowledge and structure into support that works in everyday life.
You are confident, responsive, and structured and enjoy collaboration. At the same time, you can work independently, take responsibility, and remain calm even when situations become challenging. You willingly contribute your knowledge to colleagues and to developing the operation's approaches.
Your experience
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education with a pedagogical focus on disability services, for example support educator training, or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
You have experience working within LSS or other operations for people with disabilities. You also have knowledge of social documentation and implementation plans, good Swedish language skills both spoken and written, and good digital competence.
A B driving license and access to a car are merits but not requirements.
