About Hällsbovägen Group Home Hällsbovägen is a warm and family-like group home in Sigtuna with six apartments. The operation provides housing with special services for adults according to LSS and is staffed 24/7 with on-call sleeping arrangements. We provide individually tailored support based on each person's needs, wishes and circumstances. The work includes support with daily living activities, personal care, cooking, shopping, leisure activities and social interaction. The goal is to create conditions for security, participation, independence and a meaningful everyday life. About the Support Educator Role As a support educator at Hällsbovägen, you work closely with the residents and provide individually tailored support and services, both in the home and during leisure activities. You contribute to giving residents the opportunity for participation, independence and an active and meaningful life. The work is primarily based on direct support for the residents. The schedule also includes designated times for administrative and educational work. During these times, you work on developing and monitoring the operation's educational methods, documentation and quality work. You have a special responsibility for supporting and guiding colleagues in educational work and ensuring that agreed working methods, routines and quality standards are followed. The role involves close collaboration with the operations manager, colleagues, relatives, day activities and other important parties involved with the residents. Certain delegated health and medical care tasks are included in the work. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is confident, relationship-building and educational. You remain calm and stable even when situations change and have the ability to maintain a realistic perspective in daily work. You work well with others, communicate in a receptive and respectful manner and have the ability to foster participation among both residents and colleagues. You can work independently, take responsibility and simultaneously contribute to a common working approach in the team. Since the support educator has an important role in the operation's quality work, you need to be able to guide colleagues, follow up on working methods and constructively contribute to the operation's development. We place great importance on personal suitability. Requirements: Degree from support educator training. Previous experience working as a support educator. Experience with and knowledge of adults within the LSS target group 1. Ability to support and guide colleagues and follow up on educational quality work. Basic knowledge of household work, diet and hygiene. Good computer skills. Good Swedish language skills, both oral and written. Class B driver's license. It is advantageous if you have: Experience coordinating, guiding or supervising colleagues. Experience working with people with autism. Experience with challenging behaviors or complex psychosocial issues. Knowledge of clear communication pedagogy. Experience with low-affect interactions. Experience with social documentation and systematic quality work. Terms of Employment Employment type: Permanent position with introductory trial period Job percentage: 80 percent or more Working hours: Varying hours during day and afternoon plus on-call sleeping arrangements. Work every other weekend according to a rolling four-week schedule Start date: By agreement. We view positively if you can start in December.
