JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Children with various functional variations live with us. Our residential care facility is growing and we need new colleagues to join our existing, highly competent team.
As a support assistant, your responsibilities will be to provide careful care and support to children at our residential facility in a home-like environment, working closely with guardians, colleagues, school, habilitation services, home care, and other internal and external partners.
The role includes medication management, various assistive devices such as respiratory and mobility aids. Various rehabilitative interventions including light exercise are also part of the daily work. Your task is to help fulfill the goals in the LSS plan regarding self-determination, participation, and integrity for each individual. You perform daily and planned support measures based on the user's individual needs and wishes in accordance with LSS. Examples of tools for this include developing implementation plans, other documentation, and evidence-based methods. You will contribute to creating a meaningful and secure daily life where activities are shaped according to the children's specific strengths, interests, and needs.
Our goal is to offer the best care and support in a safe environment with the Convention on the Rights of the Child and IBIC in focus. You work together with your colleagues to provide support in a way that strengthens each individual's confidence in their own abilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with nursing assistant training and experience from healthcare work as well as experience working with children with various functional variations.
As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and have a warm approach. You enjoy working both independently and with colleagues to create a safe and developmental environment for the children.
It is a merit if you have experience with delegated healthcare tasks. You have good collaboration and communication skills, are stable in your professional role, and can handle both everyday and more challenging situations in a calm and professional manner.
A clear extract from the criminal record must be presented before employment.
We are seeking one to two people for a temporary position of 1 year, working days or nights, depending on the facility's needs.
Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
