Do you enjoy varied work where you provide support both at home and during various activities? We are seeking two new team members for Vitriolstigen Group Home. We are looking for candidates with relevant education, strong knowledge, and experience in care work and LSS (support and service) activities. We operate based on LSS core principles of participation, self-determination, and independence. We advocate for low-arousal approaches characterized by openness, unpretentiousness, and reflection. We warmly welcome your application! Duties As a support assistant, you provide support and care to individuals with various functional variations based on their needs, circumstances, and wishes. The facility operates around the clock, and the work involves motivating, supporting, and creating conditions for individuals to be as independent and involved as possible in their daily lives. You maintain a professional and respectful approach and actively work to create a sense of security while maintaining and developing the individual's abilities. The work is varied and may include: personal care and support in various daily situations transfers, showering, and care in bed shopping, cooking, cleaning, and laundry support with leisure activities and other activities, both at home and in the community handling of aids such as lifts, Permobil, wheelchair, and training equipment delegated health and medical care tasks documentation and follow-up cooperation with guardians, relatives, and licensed health and medical professionals Heavy lifting and other physically demanding tasks occur. We work person-centered and based on the individual's implementation plan, needs, and goals. Using visual supports and clear pedagogy, we create structure, predictability, and security in daily life. The implementation plan is continuously reviewed and developed in cooperation with the individual, colleagues, and other professionals. As a support assistant, you have the opportunity to influence and develop both the facility and our activities based on the individual's interests, wishes, and circumstances. Qualifications The role requires: Care Program certification with a focus on functional variation or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. Knowledge of the intentions of LSS legislation, including self-determination and participation. Strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Good ability to work with documentation and implementation plans, and experience using computers as a work tool. Documented experience working with individuals with intellectual variations within LSS/psychiatry/social services. Training in and/or experience with low-arousal approaches. Personal qualities: We prefer candidates who are positive, calm, responsive, and clear in communication. You have high work ethic, are solution-focused and independent, and take personal responsibility for your work. You can meet individuals' needs through a balance of structure and flexibility. You have the ability to adapt your approach based on the situation. We also value strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently. You are development-oriented and creative in finding new ways to increase the individual's participation, independence, and communication. We also look for a coaching approach and recognition of everyone's equal worth. We strive for the team to work as a unit where everyone works toward shared goals, supports one another, and shares responsibility. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. Desirable qualifications: Training or advanced experience with varying diagnoses within LSS/social services and/or psychiatry. Knowledge of visual supports and structured working methods. Knowledge of and experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and co-occurring conditions. Experience in care work. Terms of Employment Two permanent full-time positions with start date by agreement. The position includes work during daytime, evening, weekends, and overnight shifts, plus on-call duty where the entire on-call period counts as working time. We work according to a base schedule, which means working hours may change based on staffing needs. Work at other facilities may occur, both as regular assignments and as needed.
