As a support assistant with us, you will provide individually tailored support to our residents in their daily lives and encourage and support participation in leisure activities. The work involves supporting residents based on their needs and wishes, which forms the foundation for individualized assistance in users' everyday lives. Your work contributes to enabling our users to live as independently as possible. Care work is included in your tasks, as is quality assurance through social documentation, implementation plans, and routines. No two days are alike—thinking creatively and adjusting plans are part of everyday work.
You will collaborate with users, their relatives/appointed representatives, and staff in other activities. In your work, communication, structure, participation, positive attitude, meaningful daily life, independence, and cooperation are key concepts.
This position suits you if you can work days, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Support assistant training, vocational qualification from a care and health program, training in social/pedagogical work, or equivalent training as assessed by the employer
At least two years' experience working with people who have intellectual, mental, and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities
Experience with users with low developmental levels
Experience with sensory stimulation work
Experience adapting environments, activities, and expectations based on individuals' cognitive and communication abilities
Meritorious:
Experience working as a support assistant in LSS activities or experience in another role within LSS housing and support services
Knowledge of sign language as support
Training and experience in low-arousal interaction (e.g., Studio 3)
Knowledge and experience in alternative and augmentative communication (AAC)
As a person, you are solution-focused, attentive, and clear in your interactions. You are structured and confident in your approach, have strong collaboration skills, and can work both independently and in a team. Having a pedagogical mindset, placing the user at the center, and contributing to a positive work environment come naturally to you. You are flexible and engaged and adapt your work style based on the activity's and user's needs.

Good to Know
To be called for an interview, you must demonstrate a passing grade in Swedish 1 at upper secondary level or equivalent. If this is lacking, you will be required to complete a digital language test.

You will find us in Furulund, with good bus connections to Partille center and Gothenburg.
