The Social Services Department is responsible for individual and family care, elderly care, and care for persons with disabilities. We work preventatively with support, services, and authority-based intervention for children, young people, families, adults, seniors, and persons with disabilities. About the Position The unit is located in central Huddinge, near the commuter train station and bus stop. In the group home, six persons with varying disabilities live. We offer service users individually tailored support in all daily activities, which may include support with personal care, household tasks, and support in social interaction. Work with service users is guided by individual implementation plans and accompanying method sheets. We collaborate closely with the user's network based on their wishes and goals. We work with great respect for the user's integrity and see the user as an active participant in shaping the support. Work is planned, documented, and carefully followed up; as a support assistant, it is therefore very important that you document very well. We are seeking a support assistant at 100%, permanent employment, working on a rotating schedule that includes day, evening, and weekend work. Service users may participate during recruitment. Placement of the position occurs by agreement. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for you who have education in the field, such as nursing assistant training, GPU/PPU, or equivalent education. Experience working with persons with autism and persons with disabilities, as well as experience working with clarifying pedagogy and digitalization is a requirement. You have computer skills as we document in the Life Care documentation system and you must have very good knowledge of Swedish language in speech and writing. As a support assistant, you will be part of a context where high demands are placed on teamwork and responsibility. You should create and maintain good relationships with service users, relatives, guardians, daily activities, HSL units, and other actors. We pay great attention to personal qualities and are looking for you who are confident in yourself and comfortable working with persons who have significant need for continuity and structure.
