Description The Disability Services department is seeking a support assistant for Group Home Växjövägen. Are you passionate about working with people and do you have strong pedagogical insight? The work involves care services, providing pedagogical support and care to promote the individual's abilities and independence. As a support assistant, you work with individuals who have been granted services under the LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), which means providing support and services based on the user's individual needs and wishes according to implementation plans, as well as support in habilitation and health and medical care tasks. You perform planned daily support activities together with the user. Support services should promote the user's integrity, participation and are carried out with respect for the user's self-determination. The user's needs should be central and the individual's views should be actively considered. The user should receive support and the right to make decisions about their own life and develop their abilities to live as independently as possible. The work is based on a pedagogical and motivating approach in close collaboration with the user's network and other staff. The responsibilities also include habilitation, IT-based documentation and administration, as well as delegated health and medical care tasks. Qualifications Care and nursing program with focus on the disability services field, youth and leisure program with focus on social or pedagogical work, or other equivalent education that the employer considers comparable, as well as good computer skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Conditions Before a job offer, a certificate from the police criminal record register must be presented. Approved grades in Swedish in speaking and writing. Driver's license category B. Recruitment will take place on an ongoing basis during the application period. The Care Management Office.
