About the Position
As a support assistant in daily activities within LSS, you help create a meaningful, developmental, and safe everyday life for the participants. You work together with individuals based on set goals and plan activities that strengthen participation, independence, and well-being. Through your commitment and attentive approach, you help shape a service where each person has the opportunity to grow based on their own abilities.
In your role, you are both a guide and practical support in everyday life. You document interventions, maintain contact with family and other important contacts, and collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to create comprehensive support.
Common job duties will include:
Plan and conduct activities together with participants based on implementation plans
Be a support person and follow up on individual goals
Document interventions in social records according to applicable guidelines
Contribute to a safe, structured, and inspiring environment

We are now seeking two support assistants on a special fixed-term contract. 80% for three months and 40% for five months.

Your Profile
To succeed in this job, we see that you have:
At least upper secondary education from a healthcare and social services program or equivalent education
Good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing
Basic computer skills, and can use email, Word, and work in management systems
Knowledge of what LSS means and how the law is implemented in practice regarding self-determination and participation
Driver's license (Category B)
It is a merit if you have experience with clarifying pedagogy and/or low-affective interactions. It is also positive if you have knowledge of and have worked according to KASAM (sense of coherence).

About the Recruitment Process
For a potential employment, you must present an extract from the criminal record and suspicion register, as well as valid photo identification. You are responsible for ordering the extract via the Police website. The extract you need to present is called "Arbete i hemmet med äldre och personer med funktionsnedsättning".
