Work at the sterilization center is varied and involves close collaboration with the rest of the operating department. Instrument handling is the primary area of responsibility. We are looking for We are looking for you who are a trained sterile processing technician with good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and understood. Knowledge of VAS and Provisio is a merit for the position, as is experience working in a sterilization center. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. What you will work with You will be an important part of the team around the patient. Your work includes the entire chain of instrument handling: disc disinfection, inspection and packing, as well as sterilization. Together, we take responsibility for providing patients with the best care. To ensure patients receive the best care, the role also includes inventory management, equipment handling, and maintenance of machinery in the sterilization center. Surgery in Gällivare is part of the Regional Clinic An/Op/Iva. We conduct surgical operations at hospitals in Kalix, Gällivare, and Sunderbyn with pre-, intra-, and postoperative care. The three priority areas within An/Op/Iva are stable staffing with high competence, high availability with efficient workflows, and a strong safety culture.
