As a Substation Technician with us, you deliver professional substation maintenance services in our customers' electrical installations covering voltage intervals of 0.4–400 kV. Work within substation maintenance has significant technical content where you will primarily work with: Repairs and installation of switchgear equipment Device maintenance Troubleshooting, routine inspections, and operations on switchgear apparatus Renovation and new construction of installations occur and are carried out on assignment from a project manager. Daily travel and on-call duty are a natural part of the position. When performing your work with us, you always keep safety, environment, and economy in mind. Requirements We know you will develop with us. But we would like to see that you already have: Upper secondary education or higher in electrical, electrical power, or equivalent work experience. Good computer skills (Microsoft Office) Class B driver's license, as travel is part of the position Fluent Swedish in speech and writing It is a merit if you have: Several years of work experience in electrical power Experience from the contracting industry Experience interpreting and analyzing readings on-site based on tests of switchgear apparatus such as disconnectors, circuit breakers, and transformers. Class BE driver's license Experience working with measurement equipment for maintenance and apparatus. We are looking for someone who is driven and wants to develop further within the electrical industry. Furthermore, you are a responsible person with great commitment to your tasks. It is important that you are someone who takes initiative easily and collaborates well with colleagues and customers. You have a technical interest and are motivated to work professionally in an operation where you take great responsibility for quality and progress.
