About the Role As a stationary guard, you are customer-focused and their face to the outside. You often work at an entrance and are there for visitors, welcoming everyone with professional service, where security and customer care are in focus. You deliver safety by being attentive and ensuring that everything is in order. This role suits you if you want a social position where you interact with many people. As a guard at our office in Södertälje, you'll become part of a close-knit team. The work tasks are varied, and as a guard in this role, you will work primarily indoors, during night shifts. Shift lengths vary, but are often 12-hour shifts. Since we operate year-round, it's common to work every other weekend. We operate every day of the year. Days can be intense with a fast pace and much customer contact, while night shifts are calmer. Night work often includes patrols of the facility, looking for any deviations or gaps in the customer's security and protection. The most important part of nights is that we remain attentive and vigilant when the premises are empty. If you are not trained as a guard, we will train you! Basic training is 9 working days and is conducted at various locations in Sweden before employment begins. As a new employee, you start with an introductory period to get comfortable with the work, feel secure, and learn our systems. We are security. We are Securitas. Requirements Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school Good knowledge of English B-class driving license Meritorious if you are a trained security guard and/or guard have worked with similar tasks previously As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and find it easy to understand instructions. We see that you are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them in a creative way. You have a systematic and thorough approach with an eye for detail. Great weight will be placed on your personal suitability for the role.
