Assistant Sales Manager for the Bakery
ICA Kvantum in Skövde is a family-owned business with approximately 70 employees. We work continuously to be Skövde's best grocery store for those who want to live a little better.
We have now completed our renovation of the entire store and are ready to take the next step toward becoming Skaraborg's most modern grocery store with a focus on food and meal solutions.
As an Assistant Sales Manager with us, you will be responsible for overseeing the bakery and soft bread department regarding production, economics, operations, purchasing, product development, and customer inspiration together with your direct manager, the Sales Manager for Bakery.
Job Responsibilities:
You will be involved in ensuring daily production runs smoothly and inspiring customers every day, every week with assortment, inspiration, new products, and seasonal offerings from the bakery.
An important part of the work is communicating effectively, creating positive price perceptions, and establishing a unified structure in the department. Your responsibility together with your direct manager includes planning, setting, and anchoring routines, sales management, sales planning, maintaining sales pressure in the department, and constantly working to keep the department well-stocked, clean, and inspiring.
Each week you will participate in ordering and campaigns, and the position includes working toward the set budget together with the Sales Manager.
Your work also includes stepping in as a strong Sales Manager for bakery and soft bread when the Sales Manager is not on site.
The position involves primarily production, customer service, and to some extent administrative work. The position includes weekdays and weekends.

You should also be organized with good orderliness, enjoy development and be engaged, have a focus on sales, operations, and creating good profitability.
Qualifications:
Experience from bakery/pastry/grocery retail
Good knowledge of retail economics
Are organized and have good quality awareness.
As an Assistant Sales Manager, you report to the Sales Manager for the department.
The position is approximately 95% of a full-time position. We offer a permanent contract with an initial probationary period of 6 months. Start date is immediately or by agreement. Salary by agreement.
