About the Unit The Garrison Unit is primarily a support unit for other regiments and units within Gothenburg Garrison. Our mission requires a broad range of activities. The Garrison Unit at Älvsborg Amphibious Regiment provides services in the form of defense health, security/operations, sea transport, operation and maintenance of shooting and training ranges, etc. within Gothenburg Garrison. As a staff officer, you will be part of the staff section at S3 (Coordination/Implementation) at GarnE. GarnE Staff is responsible for being the cohesive link between all these services, which in turn enables the regiments' ability to conduct their operations within Gothenburg Garrison. GarnE Staff is also responsible for ensuring that the regiments within Gothenburg Garrison can coexist by coordinating and distributing resources and areas in a way that works for all involved. Main Duties Coordinate and manage activities conducted within the garrison's base areas. (Gothenburg and Skredsvik) Maintain situation overview of the use of the garrison's facilities and positioning areas. Plan development projects within the garrison in consultation with G5-Infra. This is done by distributing resources and areas in an optimal way to suit operations and infrastructure project implementation. Provide information and tasks to affected regiments within the garrison in case of any changes or measures that need to be implemented to ensure that work within the garrison can continue without hindrance. Prepare decision documents for higher command when needed for review. Support other parts of the staff section as needed REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Completed specialist officer degree, minimum OR 6 Category B driver's license Good knowledge of the Office package Experience with administrative work and digital systems Ability to express yourself clearly in both speech and writing in Swedish Swedish citizen Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and solution-oriented with the ability to create unity and structure in an operation with many parallel needs and contact points.
