Staff Assistant Command/Communications to 31st Air Base Battalion at Helicopter Squadron Would you like to be an important part and help build Sweden's base capability in war and crisis? As an employee at 31st Air Base Battalion, you will serve at the Helicopter Squadron's largest unit and become an important part of Sweden's defense. We are growing and are looking for you who want to work as a Staff Assistant Command/Communications at the battalion headquarters. 31st Air Base Battalion 31st Air Base Battalion consists of four companies and a battalion command with associated battalion staff. The four companies consist of a Staff & Logistics Company, Airfield Protection Work Company, Air Base Security Company, and Basic Training Company. Your placement will be in the battalion staff. Main Responsibilities As a staff assistant, you will work alongside the communications officer and provide support in the operation and maintenance of communications systems. You will function as support related to signal security and monitoring of communications status. Furthermore, there are great opportunities to contribute to the development of communications systems from a user perspective and tactics to increase the battalion's command capability. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Swedish citizen Class B driver's license Completed military service with satisfactory results or ongoing military service with good prognosis at the time of recruitment Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English Meritorious Service at battalion staff, company staff or equivalent Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Group commander training Experience working in the PRIO system Personal Qualities As a person, you are careful, reliable and loyal. You have a high work capacity and enjoy working together with others to achieve common goals. You are quick to take own initiative and responsibility in every given situation.
