The Neurology Clinic is responsible for the neurology specialty area and operates as an outpatient facility serving patients from Gävleborg and northern Hälsingland. The clinic receives patients with a broad spectrum of neurological diagnoses, giving you as a neurologist the opportunity to use your full expertise and stay current across all areas of neurology. We have a day care unit for infusion treatments. We are a cohesive team consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, rehabilitation coordinators, neuropsychologists, ST-residents and specialist physicians. Connected to the clinic is also a multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation team and an ALS team. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We can offer you structured training in a specialty that is constantly evolving (research and treatment options). You will have excellent opportunities for supervision and independent study. The clinic places great emphasis on maintaining a high level of training. The team environment is strong, and specialist expertise is always available. As an ST-resident with us, you will work with, among other things: • outpatient visits • consultation regarding neurological questions from inpatient and primary care • neurorehab and ALS teams. As a person, you are solution-focused and have strong collaboration skills. You should also have good organizational abilities and enjoy working independently. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. As an ST-resident you should: • have Swedish medical license. A trial employment may be applied. Employment type: Permanent position.
