Our Offer Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, Vårdcentrum Finspång, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and on-call centers in the evenings and weekends, and the General Medicine Education Center. Job Description We offer you a challenging and varied work. We believe that you are seeking primary care because you are interested in the breadth of the general medicine specialty and can imagine a future in primary care. As an ST doctor with us, you will receive regular supervision and in addition to participation in ST meetings. We always have a supervisor who can be consulted on the spot. The health center is centrally located in Norrköping on the old hospital grounds and currently has approximately 13,900 registered patients. The health center has a medical clinic, specialist nurse clinics, nursing clinic, child health care, good psychosocial expertise (psychologists), foot care, and laboratory. We are also responsible for two nursing homes. We are a region-operated academic health center with several people engaged in research in various ways. For a long time, we have successfully worked with mental health according to the IBH concept, we have a well-functioning elderly care clinic, and we have good collaboration structures and a nice work climate. Work Group We are approximately 60 employees at the health center who enjoy working together in an open work climate. The medical clinic consists of 8 specialist doctors, 9 ST doctors, and additional doctors in training. About You You are a licensed doctor and hold a physician license issued by the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare. You have Swedish language skills corresponding to documented level C1, as you should be able to communicate freely with patients, relatives, and colleagues. If you have not completed AT or have approved Basic Competence according to BT, there is the possibility to do BT during the first year of employment. Experience of work in primary care is meriting. As a person, you have good collaboration skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You have good judgment and communicate clearly.
