About the Operation
Completing your ST (specialist training) in primary care in Dalarna means an exciting assignment with great variety in patient encounters. We work from the perspective of seeing the whole person and take broad responsibility for the individual's well-being and recovery.
We are looking for you to join us in building good, accessible care for our residents. All of our training health centers underwent SPUR quality assurance reviews in 2024.
Near the scenic Siljansringen, in the flourishing countryside of Västerdalarnas and up to the peaks in the north, we are seeking more ST physicians in general medicine for several health centers, with Mora at the center and our more rural health centers around the area. The region's magnificent nature and broad range of activities offer unique opportunities alongside work. There is strong cohesion among colleagues and teams. You will also be part of the network for ST physicians in general medicine in the region.

For those who want to work as an ST physician in general medicine, we offer a supplement of 5000 kr per month, paid out after half of the ST training is completed.
We offer, among other things, wellness allowance and access to training facilities, group training, and gyms at our larger facilities.
Work Duties
The position involves typical health center tasks such as own clinic hours, child health care, and care and collaboration with the municipality. This is combined with courses and rotational assignments.
The position's content follows the objectives described in SOFS 2015/HSLF-FS 2021:8.
For your development, there are excellent conditions to build expertise as a specialist in general medicine. We offer professional support in the form of supervisors and study directors, and engaged administrators who help you with, for example, booking rotational assignments and courses.
Qualifications
Requirements:
We are looking for someone with strong interest in general medicine. To be eligible for the position, a valid Swedish medical license is required, or you must obtain it upon starting the position. In other words, it is fine to apply at the end of AT or BT.
You are easy to collaborate with while driving and taking responsibility for your own work, are motivated, and have good self-awareness. You have the knowledge, skills, and approach required during specialist training. You can communicate with patients and colleagues without hindrance.
