About the Position As a technician, you will work closely with production performing preventive maintenance in hydraulics at our facilities. You will analyze disruptions and failures with the aim of eliminating them to create stable production. Planning and preparation of hydraulics jobs are also part of the position, as is handling spare parts. You will work both independently and together with your colleagues. We always prioritize safety and you will perform your work in accordance with SSAB's routines and processes for safety, health, and environment. The team includes the professional areas of hydraulics, media, and tribology, and you will help shape working methods and development. Your Main Responsibilities Conduct preventive maintenance and improvement work Analyze disruptions that occur and develop action proposals Plan maintenance shutdowns in consultation with the operations organization Stay updated daily on facility status Participate in facility projects and drive development forward Develop proposals for long-term maintenance plans and budgets for your area About You For this position, you must have completed upper secondary education, and further education in hydraulics/industrial media is advantageous.
