About the Position SSAB Luleå will transition its steel production over the coming years. This will involve new conditions and requirements in all areas related to the operational security of the facility. An important part of this work will be to develop and clarify working methods, instructions, and collaboration within the security field. The Security Coordinator role is part of the Property & Security section and the immediate team consists of a colleague in security and our external security provider. This is a central position at SSAB where we are looking for someone who is driven to independently navigate daily challenges and advance the development of our security work. Your Main Areas of Responsibility You support operations in security work. Security refers to physical security that impedes criminal activity on the premises. The Security Coordinator creates conditions and supports operations within the security field, identifies deficiencies and risks from a security perspective. Establish and update internal procedures and communicate about them. External regulations and legal requirements from a security perspective are broken down into operational-level rules and guidelines. The Security Coordinator is the contact person and purchaser for the security provider on site. About You We are looking for someone with experience in operational security work with documented good results. We see that you have good knowledge of Swedish and English and can communicate effectively in both speech and writing. You are driven, communicative, and comfortable stepping forward and showing the right direction where needed. To succeed in this role, a down-to-earth approach is required where you feel comfortable working both individually and in teams depending on the task.
