About the Position
As a laboratory technician in research testing and metallography, you will perform metallographic examinations of steel samples. You will become part of a team of experienced technicians and engineers and participate in analyses that support production, research, and product development.
Through strong collaboration within the team, you contribute to the company's success, particularly during this exciting time of climate transformation in the steel industry. The position is time-limited, but there is a good opportunity for extension depending on operational needs.
Your main areas of responsibility:
Perform various types of metallographic examinations of steel, both routine and more advanced.
Work to clear requirements for quality, lead time, and delivery precision.
Contribute to good order, equipment maintenance, and improvements in working methods and procedures.
Document results and maintain good traceability in the lab environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
High school education in technology, industry, natural sciences, or equivalent experience from industry.
Good attention to detail and quality awareness.
Interest in practical laboratory work and technical tasks.
Good communication skills and easy to collaborate with different functions.
Basic knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Likes working practically and has an interest in materials and technology.
