In August 2024, we moved to a fantastic new school building at Änggårdsbergen where we also expanded our operations. We are now looking for you to be part of our school! Our operations are built on three pillars: * bilingualism (SV/ENG) * calm and secure school environment * high academic expectations. Our profile is English, and up to 50% of instruction is conducted in English from grade 3 and up. Language is introduced gradually in younger grades. We work with language development according to a method called Reading to Learn; if you have experience with this or similar approaches, that is a merit. Internationella Engelska Skolan follows the Swedish curriculum (upcoming LGR22). We are looking for you who are a certified special education teacher. You will be responsible for the special education team as well as the school's two SU groups and flex group. As a special education teacher at IES Södra Änggården, you will work in a team consisting of one special education teacher and two special education teachers. Our special education teachers are responsible for assessments and intervention plans. The team works closely together and with school leadership to continuously develop the school's approaches. This is a parental leave substitute position from December to June. Description of qualifications: We want you as a person to be driven, positive, and have high work ethics.
