The team has a very positive atmosphere. We are now seeking a special education teacher at 90-100% who has good knowledge of reading and writing development, can mentor teachers to develop instruction at the school, is experienced in working with student absenteeism, both preventively and with interventions. You put the student in focus and are a clear leader with good pedagogical skills. You have an easy time building good relationships with colleagues, students and guardians, and are experienced in writing intervention plans and pedagogical assessments as well as implementing systematic student support services. You are attentive to the needs of the students and the organization, and are interested in developing and adapting your work methods to contribute to the school's student support work and to assess students' reading abilities at the junior high level. You are well versed in the curriculum's goals and you work systematically to make instruction accessible to students by mentoring teachers. As a person you are positive, solution-focused and flexible. You are a good role model for students and staff and your values align well with Västbergaskolan. The position includes participating weekly in student support team meetings at the junior high level and in meetings where the school's all special education teachers and specialists meet once a week. Together with staff in our studio activities, special math teacher, and other teachers, you work to continuously develop instruction so that every student has the opportunity to develop as far as possible.
