The school is located in the beautiful natural setting of Glömsta in the southwestern part of Huddinge. The school has modern architecture and a unique schoolyard that invites movement and play. About the Work We are seeking a special education teacher or an elementary teacher who has experience working from a special education perspective in a support unit or study program. We are looking for a person who wants to work to create good conditions for students in need of special support. Your assignment includes: Planning, conducting, and following up instruction for individual students and small groups Assessing student needs and designing, implementing, and evaluating pedagogical adaptations and support measures Contributing to the development of the support unit/study program's working methods, structure, and quality in collaboration with student health services and school leadership Creating conditions for increased attendance, study environment, safety, and goal achievement You: Provide guidance and support to educators regarding additional adaptations and special support Collaborate with guardians, teachers, and student health teams Contribute to analysis, follow-up, and documentation of student development and interventions Participate in development work for a more inclusive and accessible school We are looking for you as someone who has a relational approach, high expectations for students, and a strong commitment to all students' success. About You We are looking for you who are trained as an elementary teacher/special education teacher and who have a strong commitment to students in need of special support. You have a good ability to create trusting relationships with students and recognize the importance of meeting each student based on their individual prerequisites, strengths, and needs. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to combine high expectations with a low-affect and relational approach. You are organized, flexible, and solution-focused, with the ability to adapt instruction and support measures based on students' current needs. We would like it if you have experience with students with neuropsychiatric disabilities, problematic school absenteeism, or other difficulties that affect learning and well-being. You have knowledge of accessible learning environments and actively work to remove barriers. You are collaboration-oriented and enjoy working closely with colleagues, guardians, and student health services. You gladly share your expertise and contribute to the operation's development.
