Vena, Målilla, Mörlunda and Silverdalen - small units with great possibilities!
The outer schools in Hultsfred Municipality is a collective term for the schools in the smaller towns of the municipality. We have Vena School, Silverdalen School, Målilla School, and Emådalskolan in Mörlunda. Schools that all have close access to nature. The schools are led by three principals in close collaboration with each other. We are currently looking for special education teachers specializing in mathematics, reading and writing instruction, or severe language disorders who want to work at our schools. You will be part of a team with several special education teachers and special education specialists for all outer schools.
In your role, you will work with guiding, teaching, and assessing students with a focus on both social and pedagogical issues. An important part of the role is to work together with the school's other staff to develop our adaptation of instruction so that all students can achieve the goals with extra focus on reading and writing instruction and mathematics. Important elements in this adaptation are that you as a special education teacher have a broad repertoire of working methods where you work both individually and with groups in close collaboration with the teaching team's teachers. As a special education teacher, you also drive school development issues related to student health work. Collaboration is a prerequisite and a matter of course, both within the work team and with other work teams at other units. As a special education teacher, you are goal-oriented and engaged and drive special education issues at the schools. You take great responsibility in analyzing and leading the work teams forward. You see more possibilities than difficulties.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has pedagogical education and is a qualified special education teacher and who wants to help develop our schools. In your leadership, you start from creating good relationships with both students and colleagues.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. We would like to see that you are someone who enjoys driving school development and working with student influence connected to the curriculum. Independence, flexibility, and a forward-thinking attitude are qualifications we see in you! You will meet children of different ages and varying needs. In your leadership, you start from creating good relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues.
As a pedagogue, you are goal-oriented and engaged. You see more possibilities than difficulties. A prerequisite for working with us is that you see yourself as a team player.
